The Second Annual Wings & Wheels Fall Festival was held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Sussex County Airport in Georgetown, DE.
The event was sponsored by The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Delaware Aviation Museum and the Lower Delaware Mustang Club.
Winner of the free plane ride courtesy of Delmarva Aviation Services was Shirley Given of Lewes and Keri Bradford of Dagsboro was the winner of the 50/50 drawing.
The Festival featured a “Fly In” of vintage planes and a huge car show with classic cars, trucks and more, WW II Reenactments, food vendors, craft vendors, musical entertainment, games and events for the kids to celebrate “Halloween”.
B-25 Mitchell Bomber from World War Two was available for riding paying &400.
Other rides were available too, such as: T-6 (SNJ) Texan. World War Two Advanced Trainer Kevin Russor, PT-17 Stearman. World War Two biplane Advanced Trainer Nick Morales PT-19 Kaydet
Michael Kuhnert The Festival had vintage ground vehicles, including a 1950 Chevy half-ton pickup driven in by Will Warren, a canary yellow 1994 Ferrari 348 Spider and a mustard yellow 2000 Lotus Esprit.
