UPDATE – If you couldn’t attend the “Students Perspectives on Distance Learning” event, click here to see it.

Wilmington, DE April 22. Last week, DelawareCAN released their summary of each district and charter school remote learning plan.

Their comparison tool revealed a lot about what education looks like for students and families during the COVID-19 pandemic.

But it is more important than ever to hear how students are experiencing education during this time of rapid and dramatic change.

They invite everybody to join them tonight at 7:30pm for their event — Student Perspectives on Distance Learning —which will be streamed live on Facebook. You can access the live stream using this link. You will have the opportunity to hear directly from their panel of students from across the state.

Join DelawareCAN: Delaware Campaign for Achievement Now for a facebook live student panel on Delaware education during COVID-19.

Traditional education and learning in Delaware and across the country has changed as a result of COVID-19. This event is purposed to allow Delaware students to share their experiences around distance learning.

The video will stream directly from our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DelawareCampaignforAchievementNow/

If you know high school students who would like to share their perspective during the event, have them email Daniel Walker (daniel.walker@delawarecan.org).

They’ve also recently launched a Distance Learning Survey for High School Students. They’d be grateful if you can help us get feedback from high school students on how distance learning is going for them!
