Scenes like this are only one of the many things that you will observe at our 37th Annual Pow Wow to be held Saturday, September 6th and Sunday, September 7th, 2014. Pow Wow Grounds open at 10 am on the 6th and Grand Entry is at 12 Noon. Second Dance session will be at 4 pm Grounds close around 7 pm On Sunday, the 7th, our Worship Service begins at 10 am and Grand Entry is at 1 pm Dancing, storytelling, etc., throughout the afternoon. Grounds close at 5 pm.
There will be American Indian drummers and singers, forty plus visiting tribes from across Indian Country, authentic Indian art and craft vendors, Nanticoke Indian Museum tours, Sunday morning Worship Service, Native American foods, just to mention a few things you will be able to enjoy!
The Pow Wow Grounds are located in the middle of a naturally beautiful wooded area off John J. Williams Highway, approximately 8 miles East of Millsboro, Delaware. Signs will be posted along John J.
