AARP is pleased to announce that Carlos de los Ramos has joined the Delaware State Office as Associate State Director for Community Outreach.
As Associate State Director for Community Outreach, Mr. de los Ramos will work with volunteers, members, community leaders and others to achieve AARP’s social impact goals. He will effectively engage volunteers in all aspects of the Association’s work and implement volunteer roles related to AARP’s strategic priorities.
He comes to AARP with more than twenty years of experience with Wilmington’s Latin American Community Center, most recently as Vice President of Development. He is on the Board of WHYY and Henrietta Johnson Medical Center; and producer/ host of the Latin Beat radio show on WDEL and Comcast Newsmakers: Spanish Edition. He holds a BA degree in Journalism from University of Cuenca, Ecuador and resides in Hockessin.
For years, Mr. de los Ramos has been actively involved in communities across Delaware and will continue to forge new pathways to actively serve Delawareans and AARP’s 175,000 members statewide.
