Activities of The Georgetown Public Library in March

The Georgetown Public Library will hold its Caterpillars’ Story Time for ages 0-4 at 10:30 am every Tuesday morning with Miss Sherri. For more information please call the library at 302 856 7958.

The Georgetown Public Library Friend’s Book discussion will meet Wednesday March 9 at 10:15 am in the Library meeting room. This month discussion will be on Nemesis by Philip Roth.

The Georgetown Public Library’s Knitting Class is offered every Monday from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm. All interested individuals are invited to join. For more information or to gain a supply list for this class please call the library at 856 7958

The Georgetown Public Library is offering it Meditation class starting on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:30 pm. This next meeting will be on March 2. For information please call the library at 302 856 7958.

Starting in February come be part of the HOMESCHOOL LIBRARY CLUB at the Georgetown Public Library. The club will meet twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 2pm. There will be monthly themed activities and on the 4th Wednesday of each month will be a book discussion/activity. This program is open to kids ages 4-17. The activities are at the child’s level of ability so you neither too young nor old for this group. For more information please call Miss Sherri at the library 302 856 7958.

The Georgetown Public Library will hold it Classic Book discussion on Wednesday March 23 at 10:15 am in the meeting room. This month’s discussion will be on A Doll’s House (play) by Henry Ibsen.

Faith Steppers are coming to the Georgetown Public Library on Thursday March 17th at 6:30 pm. Faith Steppers is a local Clogging Dance Troupe that dances to the beat of a higher drummer. Under the direction of Darlene Deusa and Christine Chester they will entertain with their antics and love of dance. Come out and watch them you might even learn a step or two.
