Alina Chisenhall new Director of MSU at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital

Nanticoke Health Services is proud to announce that Alina Chisenhall, RN, has been named Director of the Medical Surgical Unit (MSU) at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. In this position, Mrs. Chisenhall will oversee the daily operations of MSU to ensure that quality care is proved to each patient in a manner consistent with Nanticoke’s mission and values.

Mrs. Chisenhall has worked on the MSU for all of her 17-year career at Nanticoke. She started as a staff nurse in July 2001, was promoted to designated charge nurse in 2003, and then was selected as MSU Manager in July 2012.

Mrs. Chisenhall is a member of numerous infection prevention, quality and safety committees within the organization. She currently serves as chair of the hospital’s Falls Committee, which focuses on patient safety and discusses ideas and measures to reduce the risk of patient falls. She is also a member of the Delaware Organization of Nurse Leaders and the Delmarva Oncology Nurse Interest Group.

Mrs. Chisenhall received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Delaware Technical Community College in Georgetown and is currently working toward her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Wilmington University.
