Allison Taylor Levine promoted to DCF vice president for marketing and communications
Levine joined the DCF as director of marketing and communications in 2011. Since that time, she has led rebranding and communication of the DCF’s transformation and expansion from a financial institution to a community impact organization.
A member of the senior management team, Levine also led the rollout of the DCF’s community indicator project, DelawareFocus.org, and modernized the organization’s marketing and communications by building a social media program and converting many functions to digital platforms.
“Allison plays a strategic role in leading the DCF’s work to make life better and increase opportunities for the people of Delaware,” DCF President and CEO Stuart Comstock-Gay said. “As the world of communication evolves and expands, Allison helps us tell our story effectively. By sharing how the DCF makes charitable giving simple, joyful and powerful, we inspire others to give, too.”
Before joining the DCF, Levine worked in marketing for a regulatory writing company. She previously served as communications director for New Castle County, the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services, and the Delaware Division of Public Health. She also was a reporter for The News Journal and other newspapers.
Levine earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a master’s of public administration from the University of Delaware, and the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America.
