 "Durante la Semana Cultural Latinoamericana 2015 en Nueva York presentaremos el nuevo CD "Alma y Vida de Mujer" de Ana María Ruimonte en un concierto festivo y contaremos con la colaboración de los fantásticos músicos Lucy Arner, Alan Lewine y Rex Benincasa en un programa que incluye 8 siglos de música en unas 2 horas: Sefardí, arias, zarzuela, chachachá, boleros, barroca, contemporánea, jazz, flamenco. ¡Lo que nunca ha escuchado antes!"












CD Release Fiesta!  During Latin American Cultural Week in NYC, Owlsong Productions is proud to present the new CD from Ana María Ruimonte: "Alma y Vida de Mujer (The Soul and Life of a Woman)" performed in concert with pianist Lucy Arner on November 14, 2015 at the National Opera Center of Opera America.  The concert will also feature Ana María with Mezzo Meets Bass, the jazz/classical/flamenco ensemble featuring arrangements by bassist Alan Lewine and with Rex Benincasa on percussion.  Eight centuries of music in about 2 hours: arias from opera and zarzuela, classic and new art songs, medieval, sephardic, cha-cha, jazz, bolero and more types of songs, mostly in Spanish in a bilingual presentation.  "You've never heard anything like this before!"

Acerca del Autor
Spanish Mezzo-Soprano, classical singer especialized in Lyric Theater, graduated at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid. She belongs to the duo "Soprano Meets Contrabass" which includes classical-jazz-flamenco and music of the world. She is author of the bilingual theatrical performance "El Carro del Amor" which includes several artistic areas as paint, poetry, theater, music and geography, in the 17th Spain.
