The annual Delmarva Chicken Festival will come home to roost when the 62nd annual event returns to Georgetown, Delaware on June 17 and 18, 2011.
The festival will be held on the campus of the Delmarva Christian High School, 21150 Airport Road, just off of Georgetown-Lewes Highway, east of the circle in Georgetown.
The Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce will host the annual celebration of chicken, an event that began in its town in 1948.
Carnival Family Night Thursday from 6-8; the Chicken Festival Opens at 10 a.m. on Friday with Home & Trade Show, Arts & Craft Vendors, Food Vendors, Health Care Venue and Non-Profits displaying information, the Carnival will be running along with many other things to do.
