Walking tours are scheduled for May 13, June 3, July 22, August 26 and September 9, weather permitting. Tours begin at 9:30 am at the Milton Historical Society, located at 210 Union Street in downtown Milton. Free parking is available in the open space next to the museum along Magnolia Street. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen and water. Program is free to members, $5 (cash or check) for non-members. Space is limited. Reservations are required, so please call (302) 684-1010 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to save a spot.
After your tour, visit the Milton Historical Society with its interesting collection of artifacts that help tell the history of Milton and the Broadkill Hundred. Admission is free. The museum is open Wednesday from 1:30-6:30 in June and July and Thursday through Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm.
