Back in 2011, while I meditated, I heard ‘the square people.’ I wasn’t sure what it meant but noted it in my journal. Then I saw it. We are the square people!
I suspect some of you may be thinking, what do you mean by that? Who wants to be square? There was a time when being ‘square’ meant being old-fashioned, being unwilling to change. Here, the phrase is a description of who we are in this earthly realm.
We are four-sided beings! We have four faces! That is, there are four general aspects to our life: the physical, the emotional, the mental and the spiritual. Are you willing to see things in the heavenly light? Would you invite Wisdom in? We are called to maturity until Christ is formed in us. (Galatians 4:9)
The scripture confirms the four-sided beings. In the book of Ezekiel, the prophet has a vision. He sees four living creatures. These represent each one and, us collectively. “Each one had four faces and each one had four wings” (Ezekiel 1:6); “As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man; each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle.” (Ezekiel 1: 10); “Now as I looked at the living creatures, behold, a wheel was on the earth beside each living creature with its four faces.” (Ezekiel 1:15)
Life can get complicated when these four aspects are unconnected. And, it can get worse if we see the need to change but refuse to do so. Furthermore, being able to recognize our ‘squareness’ is not enough. We must integrate these aspects of our being to experience ‘strength and liberation’ (another phrase that also surfaced during my quiet time).
Later I heard ‘a square within a circle.’ People say that we cannot fit a square in a circle. But, when I asked the Holy Spirit, “how do I fit a square within a circle?” The answer came: “You expand the circle.” We are the square! The circle is LOVE!
I see! LOVE expands our consciousness to fit in ALL the square people! For we are all ONE, proceeding from the ONE, and returning to the ONE after having multiplied our talents. (Mathew 25:14-15). There is only ONE BODY, ONE LORD, FATHER OF ALL! The LORD our GOD, the LORD is ONE and all is part of HIM! Knowing this makes me joyous.
For ten years I’ve shared several insights and revelations God’s has given me. I hope to expand these in a book. I’m grateful to HOY en Delaware for the opportunity; and, to you for your questions and comments.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring? Today, I can say as Laban said to Jacob “I have learned by EXPERIENCE that the LORD has blessed me for your sake.” (Genesis 30:27). I hope that reading the articles has blessed you too.

En el 2011, mientras meditaba escuché “la gente cuadrada”. No entendí lo que significaba, pero lo anoté en mi libreta. ¡Luego lo percibí! ¡Somos la gente cuadrada!
Sospecho que algunos de ustedes estarán pensando, ¿qué quieres decir con eso? ¿Quién quiere ser cuadrado? Hubo un tiempo en el que se le llamaba cuadrado al anticuado o aquel que se rehúsa a cambiar. Aquí, la frase es una descripción de lo que somos en este ámbito terrenal.
Somos seres de cuatro-lados. ¡Tenemos cuatro caras! Quiere decir, que nuestra vida tiene cuatro aspectos: físico, emocional, mental y espiritual. ¿Estás dispuesto a ver las cosas por la luz celestial? ¿Invitarás a la Sabiduría a tu vida? Se nos llama a la madurez para que Cristo se forme en nosotros (Gal. 4:9).
Las escrituras confirman los seres de cuatro lados. En el libro de Ezequiel, el profeta tiene una visión. Ve cuatro criaturas vivientes. Estas representan a cada uno y a nosotros colectivamente. “cada uno tenia cuatro caras y cuatro alas” (Ezequiel 1:6); “Y el aspecto de sus caras era cara de hombre, y cara de león al lado derecho de los cuatro, y cara de buey a la izquierda en los cuatro; asimismo había en los cuatro cara de águila” (Ezequiel 1:10); “Mientras yo miraba los seres vivientes, he aquí una rueda sobre la tierra junto a los seres vivientes, a los cuatro lados” (Ezequiel 1:15).
La vida se complica cuando estos cuatro aspectos están desconectados. Y es todavía peor cuando vemos la necesidad de cambiar, pero rehusamos hacerlo. Mas aún, no es suficiente el poder reconocer nuestra ‘cuadratura’. Tenemos que integrar estos aspectos de nuestro ser para poder experimentar “la fuerza y la liberación” (esta es otra de las frases que recibí).
Luego escuché “un cuadrado dentro de un círculo.” La gente dice que un cuadrado no cabe en un círculo. Así es que pregunte al Espíritu Santo, “¿cómo hago para que quepa un cuadrado en un círculo?” La contestación fue, “Expande el círculo.” ¡Somos el cuadrado! ¡El circulo es el AMOR!
¡Ya veo! El AMOR expande la consciencia para que pueda caber toda la gente cuadrada. Pues, todos somos UNO, procedentes del UNO y de vuelta al UNO después de haber multiplicado nuestros talentos (Mateo 25:14-15). ¡Solo existe UN cuerpo, UN Señor, PADRE de todo! El Señor nuestro Dios es UNO y todo es parte de EL. ¡Me da gozo el saber esto!

Quien sabe lo que mañana traerá. Lo que sé es que hoy puedo decir como Labán le dijo a Jacob, “…he experimentado que Jehová me ha bendecido por tu causa”. (Genesis 30:27). Espero que los artículos los hayan bendecido también.
