“ARTADDICTION is a grassroots art competition that seeks to explore the person behind addiction and recovery through artistic expression. We believe that art is a universal language that can help promote the message of substance abuse prevention, increase understanding about the complexities of addiction and recovery.
ARTADDICTION is for everyone! Individuals who have experienced addiction themselves, through their families, or individuals who just want to further explore the subject. Participants 18 years or older, novice to experienced artists, are encouraged to submit up to two pieces of art in different art forms such as: drawings, paintings, photography, collages and graphic design.
The art is judged based upon how effectively, clearly and expressive the theme of addiction and recovery is explored in both content and visual impact.”
