A specially-designed 18-wheel truck is bringing treasures and information from the Library of Congress into cities and towns across America.

Beginning in September 2010, the “Gateway to Knowledge” rolling exhibition is visiting up to 60 sites in states across the Midwest and South through September 2011.

The truck, staffed and driven by two docents well-versed in the Library and its collections will be in Dover on Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13.

It will be parked in front of Legislative Hall, 411 Legislative Ave., between Duke of York and William Penn streets. The exhibit is free and open to public from 10 am to 6pm both days.
