Today, I was reminded of what the Lord said to me a few years ago: ‘be gentle, be broken and, be prepared to listen’. God wants us all to have a fresh vision of why we need an inner transformation.
First we must understand that Christ is both the husband and the wife. For the unbelieving husband (you and me) is sanctified by the WIFE (CHRIST). And, the unbelieving wife (you and me) is sanctified by the HUSBAND (CHRIST) (1 Cor.7:14). So it does not matter if we are male or female, old or young, black, white, or any other color, the Lord is doing a continual work in each whether we are aware of it or not.
Awareness causes us to see how His persistent work reveals all our erroneous ways of the past that impacts our current living conditions. These include our desire to follow the world’s call to labor for power, pleasure, and popularity. These were the three worldly temptations that Jesus faced in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1).
To be gentle is akin to being compassionate. When we seek to understand others we are more likely to nurture genuine connections. It is true that we do not always comprehend what another person is going through. But, if we are attentive and motivated by a gentle heart, we can become the open-door that welcomes the love of God. By our actions, others may come to realize the meaning of their own lives. Our willingness to be temperate carries heavenly power.
To be broken is similar to forsaking vanity in its many forms. It involves understanding that what we think is important in life is really no more than shifting sand. Brokenness requires that we pause to meditate about what makes life meaningful. What would happen if all our possessions were taken away? What would we consider of significance? The value of life lies in the solid foundation of love, charity and divine relations. This is where we experience heavenly pleasure.
To be prepared is alike to ‘move in the inner power to help connect lives.’ This is another phrase that the Lord used to direct me. This encompasses a whole new spin with lightness and energy that join the ‘clouds’ (Mark 13:26). Clouds represent people aligned to the divine plan. People filled of water by the WORD (Ephesians 5:26) join to bring life to the world. Listen! This is true popularity.
God, I AM, is a fountain of understanding! Do you understand? I close with the song that is playing in my mind as I write. Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father…all I have needed Thy hand has provided. Great is thy faithfulness Lord unto me. The words comfort me. I hope they comfort you too as you remember ‘be gentle, be broken, be prepared… to listen’.

El Señor me recordó hoy lo que me dijo un día, tiempo atrás: ‘sea apacible, sea humilde y esté preparada para escuchar’. Dios quiere que todos tengamos una nueva visión del por qué necesitamos una transformación interior.
Primero hay que entender que Cristo es ambos: esposo y esposa. Porque el marido incrédulo (usted y yo) es santificado por la ESPOSA (CRISTO); y, la esposa incrédula (usted y yo) es santificada por el ESPOSO (CRISTO) (1 Cor. 7:14). De manera que, no importa si es usted un varón o una mujer, un viejo o un joven, negro, blanco, o de cualquier otro color, Dios está haciendo un trabajo continuo en cada persona lo pueda percibir o no.
Esta percepción nos permite ver la persistencia de Dios que revela todos los caminos erróneos que actualmente impactan nuestras condiciones de vida. Estas incluyen nuestro deseo de seguir el mundo que nos llama a laborar por poder, placer y popularidad. Estas fueron las tentaciones de Jesús en el desierto (San Mateo 4:1).
Ser apacible es semejante a ser compasivo. Cuando buscamos entender a los otros tendremos más probabilidad de establecer relaciones genuinas. Es cierto que no siempre comprendemos la situaciones por las cuales pasa otra persona. Mas, si estamos atentos y motivados por un corazón apacible, podemos convertirnos en puertas abiertas que permitan la entrada al amor de Dios. Por nuestras acciones, otros podrían realizar el significado de sus propias vidas. Nuestro consentimiento a ser moderado trae consigo poder de los cielos.
Ser humilde está relacionado con el estar en un estado de separación del mundo y de todas la vanidades que contiene. Envuelve el entendimiento que todo lo que creemos que es importante en la vida es más bien arena movediza. ¿Qué pasaria si hoy perdiera todas sus posesiones? ¿Qué consideraría significativo? El valor de la vida se encuentra en la fundación sólida del amor, la caridad y las relaciones divinas. He ahí el placer de los cielos.
El estar preparado es como ‘moverse en el poder interior para conectar vidas.’ Esta fue otra frase que me dió el Señor para dirigirme. Esto envuelve un nuevo girar con luminosidad y energía que une las ‘nubes’ (San Marcos 13:26). Las nubes representan la gente que se alinea al plan divino. La gente llena del agua por la PALABRA (Efesios 5:26) unida para traer vida al mundo. ¡Escucha! Esto es verdadera popularidad.
¡Dios, YO SOY, es fuente de entendimiento! ¿Entiendes? Concluyo con la canción que ha estado en mi mente mientras escribía. Grande es tu fidelidad, ¡oh Dios mi Padre!…todo lo que he necesitado tú lo has proveído…¡grande es tu fidelidad!. Estas palabras me brindan ánimo hoy y espero que a usted también. Recuerde ‘sea apacible, sea humilde, y esté preparado para escuchar’.
