Be Open to Insights

There are signs everywhere! Take notice. They appear in our surroundings, in dreams, and in visions. They spark wonderful insights. Recently, I had a vision of my older son as a child playing a video game called Mario Brothers. You might be familiar with it. And I saw that the video game has similarities to our quest in life.
In the game, the goal is to rescue a princess. The parameters are set and cannot be changed. There are challenges along the way to reaching her. She is trapped in a castle by the dragon-like creature. The player goes through ‘eight worlds’ to find her.
In each of the worlds, the challenges become more difficult. To succeed, the player must stay the course, become aware of the surroundings, and remember lessons learned. Each successive level increases the character’s chances of dying. But also it increases the player’s experience and mastery of the game. Everyone rejoices when the princess is rescued!
Likewise in life, the goal is to rescue the PRINCESS. The parameters do not change. The challenges serve to train us. We get eight decades (give or take) to move through the eight levels. There are times when we experience frustration, desolation, and desperation. But if we ‘…die daily…’ (allegorically speaking), we also gain a higher level of maturity.
The princess is a symbol of the individual and collective SOUL. With patience, determination, and care we can rescue her. While trapped by the carnal mind, she is like a city that cannot be developed though she “…was great among the nations…The PRINCESS…has become a SLAVE.”
The game represents a SOUL RECOVERY TASK that can only be accomplished with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. And when we use our will to engage in this task, we become example for others just as Jesus demonstrated, “For I have given you an example that you should do as I have done to you.” When that happens, everyone rejoices!
Signs show us the big picture. “How great are His signs…from generations to generations.” Also, in a world seemingly consumed by darkness, they help us to navigate and keep the faith. Everyone seems scattered. “But from there…you will SEEK the Lord your GOD and you will FIND Him IF you seek Him with ALL your HEART and all your SOUL.”
It is true that there are senseless plots and erratic personalities striving to keep our true essence trapped in a chaotic state. But do not lose hope for everything has its purpose and place in the game of life. To succeed, watch the signs that guide and do not look back. Be focused and stay clear of distractions. And more importantly, be open to insights!

Presta atención a las intuiciones

¡Hay señales por todas partes! Fíjate. Aparecen en nuestro entorno, en sueños y en visiones. Provocan intuiciones maravillosas. Recientemente, tuve una visión de mi hijo mayor cuando era un niño jugando un videojuego llamado ‘Mario Brothers’. Es posible que estés familiarizado con ese juego. Y vi que tiene similitudes con nuestra búsqueda en la vida.
En el juego, el objetivo es rescatar a una princesa. Los parámetros están establecidos y no se pueden cambiar. Hay desafíos en el camino para llegar a ella. Está atrapada en un castillo por una criatura parecida a un dragón. El jugador tiene que traspasar ‘ocho mundos’ para encontrarla.
En cada uno de los mundos, los desafíos se vuelven más difíciles. Para lograr el éxito, el jugador debe mantener su rumbo, tomar conciencia de su entorno y recordar las lecciones aprendidas. En cada nivel sucesivo aumenta la posibilidad de que el personaje en el juego muera. Pero también aumenta la experiencia del jugador a medida que domina los retos ¡Todos se regocijan cuando rescata a la princesa!
Del mismo modo en la vida, el objetivo es rescatar a la PRINCESA. Los parámetros no cambian. Los retos sirven para formarnos. Tenemos ocho décadas (más o menos) para atravesar ocho niveles. Hay momentos en que experimentamos frustración, desolación y desesperación. Pero al “morir a diario…” (alegóricamente hablando), también alcanzamos un nivel mayor de madurez.
La princesa es un símbolo del ALMA individual y colectiva. Con paciencia, determinación y cuidado podemos rescatarla. Mientras el alma está atrapada por la mente carnal, es como una ciudad que no puede desarrollarse, aunque “… fue grande entre las naciones. La PRINCESA… se ha convertido en una ESCLAVA”.
El juego representa la TAREA DE RECUPERACIÓN DEL ALMA que solo se puede lograr cuando nos guía el Espíritu Santo. Y cuando usamos nuestra voluntad para involucrarnos en esta tarea, nos convertimos en un ejemplo para los demás tal como Jesús demostró, “Porque te he dado un ejemplo de que debes hacer lo que yo he hecho”. Cuando eso sucede, ¡todos se regocijan!
Las señales nos muestran el panorama general. “Cuán grandes son SUS señales… de generación en generación. Además, en un mundo aparentemente consumido por la oscuridad, nos ayudan a navegar y a mantener la fe. Actualmente, todos parecen estar divididos. “Pero desde ahí … BUSCARÁS al Señor tu DIOS y lo encontrarás SI lo buscas con TODO tu CORAZÓN y toda tu ALMA. “
Es cierto que hay tramas sin sentido y personalidades erráticas que se esfuerzan por mantener nuestra verdadera esencia atrapada en un estado caótico. Mas no pierdas la esperanza pues todo tiene su propósito y su lugar en el juego de la vida. Para tener éxito, observa las señales que te guían y no mires hacia atrás. Mantén tu enfoque alejado de las distracciones. Sobre todo, ¡presta atención a las intuiciones!
