Camacho and Berrios participate in NAACP Legal Form

Thursday, December 17, 2009 – Delaware State Police Corporal George Camacho and Millsboro Policeman Miguel Berrios took part in an NAACP legal forum at Dickerson’s Chapel in Millsboro. The informative, two hour session featured a panel including representatives from law enforcement, the judiciary, the district attorney’s office, the political sector and faith community.

Questions from community members in attendance ranged from inquiries about citizens’ rights to concerns about crime and violance in schools and neighborhoods. Panelist also explored ways they and the community might work together to reduce the recidivism rate from prisoners and positively engage and impact children in an effort to prevent them from running afoul of the law.
