Cancer Support Community- DE Offers Art HOPE: Living Wholeheartedly

Art HOPE…..Living Wholeheartedly is an ongoing art series driven by a powerful concept and designed for people affected by cancer and their loved ones. Living wholeheartedly means that you are courageously engaging in your life, even when you feel vulnerable. Each Art HOPE class features a theme you will explore that will guide you through your healing journey. You will receive resources, insight and inspiration to help you cultivate what you need to live a more wholehearted life of courage, engagement, and purpose.

The Cancer Support Community – Delaware will offer Art HOPE: Intuition on Monday, February 9th at 10:00 am at its Sussex facility. Discover the joys of Watercolor Journaling with Rosemary Connelly of Live Cheap & Make Art Studios. Rosemary will guide you to incorporate drawing, painting, and writing in a way that will delight and inspire. Whatever your level of experience, you will learn to slow down, to really look at the world around you and capture what you see and feel as you paint. This artwork can then be hung or put into a special Art HOPE binder you will receive. No art experience is needed, just the desire to let go and create. Rosemary will also present the next part of the series, Gratitude and Joy on Monday, March 16th at 10am.

Art HOPE: Intuition is part of the Art HOPE (Healing Opportunities for Personal Expression) series. This program is made possible, in part, by the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
Please call 645-9150 in advance to reserve your spot for the session. All programs offered at CSC are free of charge to people affected by cancer and their loved ones. The Sussex facility is located at 18947 John J. Williams Hwy., Suite 312, Rehoboth.

The Cancer Support Community is part of a national nonprofit organization that provides support, education and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones. Through participation in professionally led support groups, educational workshops and mind/body classes, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope regardless of the stage of disease. At the Cancer Support Community Delaware, all programs are free of charge.
