Sussex County Council, in cooperation with the Delaware State Housing Authority, will hold a Citizen Participation Forum so that all citizens can have an opportunity to participate in the development of an application to the State of Delaware Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The primary objective of the State’s CDBG program is to provide funding for activities to maintain or improve existing housing stock, and for the provision of infrastructure in support of housing development for low- and moderate-income persons.
Citizen participation and comments are integral to the formulation of the grant request. We invite members of the public from communities throughout Sussex County to participate in the forum. Sussex County is accepting written comments for the County-wide application until Friday, December 11th at 4 PM. Comments can be submitted to:
