The Promoting Safe and Stable Families Community Advisory Board at Children and Families First is now seeking proposals for mini-grant funding that focus on the following areas: healthy marriages/relationships, parenting, child / youth behavior, substance abuse, and fatherhood initiatives.
Priority will be given to those activities and programs located in the following zip code areas:
19931, 19939, 19940, 19945, 19947, 19956, 19966, 19967, 19970, 19973, and 19975.

Last January 20, 2010 at 5:30 PM Promoting Safe and Stable Families Program have scheduled a mandatory community mini-grant workshop at Children and Families First. It was required that all applicants attended.
Children & Families First is a not for profit social service agency that strengthens families and communities by providing quality social, educational and mental health services. It is a merger of Family Service Delaware, Children’s Bureau of Delaware, Turnabout Counseling and Community Services and the Perinatal Association of Delaware. Children & Families First is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children. The organization is a member of the Alliance For Children & Families, Child Welfare League of America and the United Way of Delaware. Children & Families First is licensed as a child placing agency and as a residential treatment center by the Delaware Department of Services For Children, Youth and Their Families.
