The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) crews will close Alley Corner Road between Route 300/Wheatleys Pond Road and Underwoods Corner Road near Clayton at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, for the replacement of a crossroad pipe. The road will re-open at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5. The rain date will be Thursday, May 6.
Traffic will be detoured as follows:
Northbound: Go east onto Route 300/Wheatleys Pond Road and make a left to Underwoods Corner Road and back to Alley Corner Road
Southbound: Make a left to Underwoods Corner Road and then make a right onto Route 300/Wheatleys Pond Road and back to Alley Corner Road
