DART will begin operation of a new, Pilot Flex bus service in Sussex County beginning on Monday, November 10 with the following three routes:

901F – Georgetown Loop travels around Georgetown and connects to Route 206 to Lewes and Rehoboth; Route 212 to Bridgeville, Seaford, Laurel and Delmar; Route 303 to Milford and Dover; and to the new 902F Flex Route to Millsboro.

902F – Georgetown-Millsboro provides new service between Georgetown and Millsboro with the same connections listed above.

903F – Seaford Loop travels around the town of Seaford connecting customers to Route 212.

The Flex Routes operate weekdays, every hour from 6 AM to 7 PM. In addition to providing regular accessible bus service to designated bus stops, Flag Zones have been established in designated areas along the route where customers can wave down the bus to stop. The driver will determine the safest stop location within the approved zone.

And, the new Flex routes have the “flexibility” to accommodate off-route, curbside pick-ups and drop-offs up to one mile of the regular route by reservation. This option is available to everyone and reservations can be made a minimum of 2 hours and up to 2 service days in advance (on a space/time available basis) by calling 1-800-652-3278, Option 3.

Buses are equipped with seatbelts, bike racks, and are accessible to people who use wheelchairs.
