“Rider of the Month” is the theme for DART’s newest contest to thank fixed route bus riders for their loyal and frequent patronage for riding DART’s buses throughout the years. Once a month, DART looks to recognize and award an individual rider as the Rider of the Month.
All bus riders of a numbered bus route (1-303), with the exception of DART First State employees and their immediate families, are eligible for the contest. DART is asking the public to nominate a fellow rider who is courteous, friendly, helpful, and has a positive attitude or is an advocate for public transportation.
Nominate your favorite bus rider by providing their name, phone number and e-mail address, which bus routes they ride, and a statement on why they should be the Rider of the Month.
Also the nominating person is asked to provide their own contact information and the date. Entries are due by the 15th of the month for the next month’s award. Contest terms and conditions, along with the rider nomination form are available at DartFirstState.com and in contest flyers at DART offices and transit stores, and by calling 1-800-652-DART, and pressing option 5.
