Georgetown, DE – The Delaware Community Reinvestment Action Council (DCRAC) has open a new office in Georgetown.
“We are now in Sussex County,” said Rashmi Rangan, DCRAC executive director, during the grand opening ceremony held on October 27.
The office is located at the Georgetown Professional Park, 20145 Office Circle, Unit 1, Georgetown, DE 19947.
Their upstate office is located at 601/603 N Church St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
Since 1987, they have worked with thousands of Delawareans with access to credit and capital.
DCRAC offers free bilingual counseling services on credit, taxes and housing all over the state of Delaware.
Delaware had 609 foreclosure filings in September 2009, compared with 354 filed in September 2008. One of the services offered by DCRAC is foreclosure prevention.
It’s offering two events on this matter:
– November 18 (3-7 pm) in Kent Co. Duncan Center, 500 West Loockerman St., Dover, DE 19904. Lending attending are: GMAC, Chase and Wells.
– November 19 (3-7 pm) in New Castle Co. IBEW Local 313, 814 West Basin Rd., New Castle, DE 19720. Lenders attending are: GMAC, Chase, Wells, AHMSI and HSBC.
