Monday, February 1. The renovated Georgetown Train Station was possible thanks to some people as Carlton R. Moore.
Last Monday, the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce held an event “Dedication the Georgetown Train Station to Carlton R. Moore”. Without the efforts of this HGA (Historic Georgetown Association) member the renovation of the old station couldn’t have been possible.
For that reason Historic Georgetown Association (HGA) officials joined state legislators decided to dedicate the Georgetown Train Station to Carlton Moore.
The station was originally built in 1868.
