Harrington, DE – According to research from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), there are over 50 million Latinos currently in the United States and that figure is expected to exceed 100 million by 2050. What is the financial market doing to serve the increasing Spanish speaking citizens? As a financial institution, Del-One is continually dedicated to serving the Hispanic community by providing bilingual financial education and counseling, bilingual branch materials, a bilingual website, attendance to many Hispanic events, as well as an increasing bilingual staff. Del-One realizes that being able to go into a branch and speak with a Spanish-speaking employee is important to the Hispanic community.
Del-One is excited to participate in the 4th Annual Hispanic Expo and Job Fair sponsored by La Exitosa 930AM radio station and Delaware State University. The event will be held at the Delaware State Fairgrounds on April 19, 2009 from 12-4 p.m. Several of Del-One’s bilingual employees will be on hand to educate the attendees about financial services and how we can serve them. A few lucky attendees will win a bike, courtesy of Del-One. The Del-One prize wheel will provide entertainment for the whole family and give them a chance to win.
