As of February 1, 2013, Delaware 2-1-1, the statewide information and referral service of United Way of Delaware and home to Help Me Grow Delaware and The Cancer Helpline, will have the ability to serve the needs of the community even greater. Delaware 2-1-1 will begin offering extended hours of operation on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and on weekends from 9:00 a.m. – noon. A Information & Referral specialist will be available to connect you to one of more than 2,700 resources to ensure you get the help you need as it relates to health and social services such as financial assistance, emergency housing, food, family issues, legal services, mental health and more.
