Joined by U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Regional Administrator Natalia Olson-Urtecho, elected officials, community leaders, as well as representatives from community organizations statewide, Governor Markell participated in the Delaware Latino Summit, “Connecting For a Brighter Future,” which is sponsored by the Delaware Hispanic Commission.
The purpose of the summit was to bring the Latino leadership and community together to discuss important issues facing residents throughout the state facing residents throughout the state including transportation, education, health and social services, economic development, legal and social justice, and housing.
