Delaware Office of Highway Safety Taking the Wheel with Safe Driving Message

The Delaware Office of Highway Safety (OHS) announced today that they will continue their history of championing safe driving at Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware by sponsoring Ross Chastain in the No. 4 Chevrolet Camaro of JD Motorsports, Inc. for the May and September NASCAR Xfinity Series races. The partnership also includes marketing and promotion efforts with Dover Motorsports, JHE Productions, and Melon 1.

“OHS strives to educate and enforce safe driving habits throughout the state. We are thrilled to reconnect with the passionate NASCAR fans that identify with our ‘Buckle Up!’ message on a daily basis,” said Lisa Flowers, Community Relations Officer for Delaware’s Office of Highway Safety. “Buckle Up! as part of NHTSA’s Click It or Ticket campaign isn’t about the citations; it’s about saving lives. The spring NASCAR Xfinity Series race provides the opportunity to strengthen OHS’ message by reminding drivers and passengers to “’Click It or Ticket It – Buckle Up!”

To celebrate their return to the Dover Motorsports, OHS will employ a comprehensive marketing approach to engage with racing enthusiasts and loyal NASCAR consumers through on-track, hands-on, traditional, digital, and social media messaging during the 2016 NASCAR season.

Melon 1 and the Delaware Office of Highway Safety are excited to also carry the theme of “Protect Your Melon” to the NASCAR Xfinity Series in partnership with JD Motorsports.
