Georgetown –Improve your desktop publishing skills in courses offered this summer by the Adult Plus+ program at Delaware Technical & Community College, Owens Campus.
Make a good idea look great using desktop publishing in “Looking Good in Print – Beginner” from June 29 to July 13. Learn to make the best use of photos, clipart and other graphic elements on the printed page; concepts learned in this course will work with any computer-based publishing program.
Advance beyond the basics of good desktop publishing composition in order to create professional-quality publications. “Looking Good in Print – Advanced” from July 27 to August 10.
Adults ages 50 and up can become Adult Plus+ members for $18 per year. Benefits of membership include unlimited use of the Stephen J. Betze Library located on campus; exclusive advanced registration and special discounts on trips, courses and events; and a free drink with purchase of a meal in the dining hall on campus.
