The proposal includes (by County):
New Castle County
Time changes on Routes 1, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12, 17, 22, 25, 33, 46 & 55.
Bus stops along Orange St. between 6th and 11th Sts. would be for Drop Offs only for Routes 4, 5, 15, 18, 23, 30, 33, 39, 40, 41, 42 & 55. Only Routes 1, 3, 9 & 24 would allow for passenger pick-ups.
Route 1: Routing would be extended to serve Amtrak Station on all trips. Due to low ridership, the following eight trips would no longer go into Bellefonte, instead continuing on Philadelphia Pike to Wilmington at 7:49 AM, 8:00 AM, 4:26 PM, 5:03 PM and from Wilmington at 7:24 AM, 8:58 AM, 11:29 AM, 4:11 PM.
Route 3: To Wilmington, the Opportunity Center would not be served at 5:33 PM (Facility closes at 4:30 PM.).
Route 6: Route would no longer serve Amtrak Station on weekdays, instead continuing east on 11th St. to Spruce St. to serve eastside residential areas. Leaving Wilmington, route would begin on 10th St. at Walnut St. to Rodney Square and follow current routing out of town. The forty-eight trips operating just between Wilmington and Prices Corner Park & Ride only would be discontinued. Twenty-four trips would be added between Newark and Wilmington.
Route 10: Routing would be changed to travel Market St. to/from Amtrak Station instead of King St. and Walnut St., serving stops on Market St. at 7th and 4th Sts. Saturday service would be discontinued, instead adding trips to Route 28.
Route 11: Routing would be changed to travel Market St. to/from Amtrak Station instead of King and Walnut Sts., serving stops on Market St. at 7th and 4th Sts.
Route 12: Routing would be changed to travel Market St. to the Riverfront via S. Market St. to Water St. to Justison St., serving stops on Market St. at 7th and 4th Sts. Amtrak Station would be served by bus stop on S. Market St. at Rosa Parks Dr. The twenty-six trips operating just between Riverfront and Rodney Square only would be discontinued
Route 17: Four evening trips to Wilmington leaving DHSS Campus at 7:14 PM, 8:24 PM, 9:14 PM & 11:14 PM would no longer go into Holloway Terrace or Dunleith due to low ridership.
Route 22: Trips into Wilmington would no longer serve the New Castle Airport onsite.
Route 28: Would serve onsite at the new JPMorgan Chase (former AZ campus) on all trips. Seven roundtrips would be added on Saturdays.
Wilmington Trolley (Route 32): Route would be discontinued due to low ridership; however, Market St. would be served more frequently by Routes 10, 11 & 12.
Route 33: The eighteen trips operating just between Wilmington and Christiana Mall only would be discontinued. Trips between Newark and Wilmington would have major time changes. As a result of these time changes, service between Christiana Mall and Wilmington would be approximately every 30 minutes (from Route 33 or Route 40).
Route 34: Service between Christiana Mall and downtown Wilmington would be discontinued. Routes 33 and 40 would provide service between the Mall and Wilmington approximately every 30 minutes.
Route 43: In order to provide more direct service between Odessa Park & Ride and Amazon during morning and afternoon peak hours, two morning trips from Odessa Park & Ride and two afternoon trips from Amazon would not serve the northern loop through the residential areas on those specific trips.
NEW Route 53: New route would convert existing “Not In Service” buses to express service between DART Mid-County Wrangle Hill Park & Ride/Delaware City DMV on US 13 to the Newark Transit Hub via DE 72.
Route 54: Service between Christiana Mall and downtown Wilmington would be discontinued. Routes 33 and 40 would provide service between the Mall and Wilmington approximately every 30 minutes.
Route 55: Service between Christiana Mall and downtown Wilmington would be discontinued except for 6:42 AM trip leaving Newark and the 4:39 PM from Wilmington. Routes 33 and 40 would provide service between the Mall and Wilmington approximately every 30 minutes.
Kent County
Route 113: Service would be extended to serve Eden Hill Medical Center on all trips.
Route 117: A bus stop would be added on Long Acre Drive near the Kent County Library.
Intercounty
Routes 301 & 303: Time changes
Sussex County
Routes 206 & 212: Time changes
Flex 902: Service would be added to Mountaire in Millsboro on five roundtrips to meet daytime shift times.
NEW Route 215: New route between Millsboro and Rehoboth would operate weekdays with four morning and six afternoon trips via DE 24.
