Georgetown–The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces the emergency closure of Rum Bridge Road between Rementer Road and Old Furnace Road near Redden State Forest due to crossroad pipe failure. The road is closed immediately, until further notice.
Traffic will be detoured as follows:
Northbound: Rum Bridge Road to Old Furnace Road onto Rementer Road and back to Rum Bridge Road
Southbound: Rum Bridge Road to Rementer Road onto Old Furnace Road and back to Rum Bridge Road
