In honor of Cinco de Mayo, Ernest & Scott Taproom is spearheading a downtown Wilmington block party on Market Street that is guaranteed to rock. The event takes place on Friday, May 4, from 4-10 p.m. Participating vendors will be serving pina coladas, al pastor tacos, carne asada tacos, chicharrones, and other Latin-fusion fare. A full menu and full bar service is available inside Ernest & Scott Taproom.
“Everyone is invited to our 2nd Annual Street Fest right in the heart of downtown,” said Joseph Van Horn, owner of Ernest & Scott Taproom. “Neighbors and families come join us.”
The event will include street food vendors and much more. Last year’s event drew a crowd of over 1,300 attendees, with people from all over the city joining in the fun to celebrate the cultural experience complete with live music, delicious Hispanic food and signature drinks. This year’s crowd is expected to be even larger. The event is kid and family friendly, complete with a bouncy house for the kids.
