27-year-old Juan Antonio Vargas of Dundalk, Maryland was arrested for an incident that occurred during a traffic stop. At approximately 3:45 pm Vargas was stopped for a traffic violation on East Market Street. During the vehicle stop, police located approximately 6.5 grams of heroin, 11 grams of crack cocaine, 6 grams of marijuana, 10 clonazepam pills, and a 12-gauge shot-gun. Vargas was charged with trafficking heroin, trafficking cocaine, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, possession of heroin with the intent to deliver, possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver, maintaining a vehicle for keeping a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed, deadly weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and traffic charges; he was committed to SCI in lieu of $113, 501.00 cash bond
