Guardrail Project Will Require Lane Restrictions in Sussex County

Seaford–The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that M. L. Ruberton Construction and Safety, Inc., will be removing and replacing guardrails across Sussex County. During these safety improvements, motorists will encounter intermittent lane restrictions beginning on Monday, March 28 and ending on Friday, April 29, pending weather. The work schedule will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Work will take place at the following locations:

Route 13 from Hearns Pond Road to Shore Drive

Broadkill Road from Graves Farm Road to South Shore Bay Drive

Slaughter Beach Road from Wells Road to Bay Avenue

Route 24 from Maryland Camp Road to William Street Road

Nine Foot Road from Hickman Road to Kent County Line

Clendaniel Pond Road from Greentop Road to Fleatown Road

Tyndall Road from Dusty Road to Route 9

Gum Branch Road from Johnson Road to O’Neals Road

Old Sharptown Road from Maryland state line to Ellis Grove Road

Coverdale Road from Hastings Farm Road to Route 18

Conrail Road from Hearns Pond Road to Bowdens Garage Road

Maple Branch Road from Redden Road to West Robbins Road

Front Street from Cave Neck Road to Federal Street

Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling throughout these locations and expect lane shifts.
