WASHINGTON- Today, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Craig Fugate continues his two-day trip to Delaware to meet with congressional, state, and local officials. Administrator Fugate will discuss the critical role various members of the emergency response team play as well as the steps already underway to strengthen partnerships and prepare the public for the next disaster. Beyond meetings there remains one open press event today:

Administrator Fugate will join Governor Markell, Senators Carper and Kaufman, and Representative Castle for a brief press availability to discuss the importance of preparedness and FEMA’s critical partnership with state and local emergency managers and first responders.
