Sussex County Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore invites you to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in honor of Mexico’s Independence from the French on Saturday, May 2nd. Located at 107 Depot Street near the railroad tracks in Georgetown, ReStore will offer light refreshments and a 10% discount throughout the day.
ReStore sells donated new and gently used appliances, cabinets, furniture, doors and windows, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sussex County Habitat for Humanity operates ReStore to help with funding for more Habitat homes. The profits go directly to Habitat’s mission of building simple, decent, and affordable homes in partnership with Sussex County families.
Sussex County Habitat for Humanity is affiliated with Habitat for Humanity International and is a Christian-based organization. Since 1991, through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Sussex County Habitat has built 39 homes in Sussex County. Sixty-one adults and 109 children live in Habitat homes.
