Bill Hickman and his family would like to share two announcements: They are now the exclusive distributor of Delaware’s only certified organic pasture raised poultry from The Farm in Georgetown. These organic chickens are raised with care on green pastures in the fresh air and sunshine the way nature intended. The Farm is one of only 5 certified organic farms in Delaware, they are best known for their eggs, vegetables, and chickens.
Hickman’s has been carrying organic eggs from The Farm for the past year with overwhelming success. Bill is also pleased to announce the opening of a their second store in Lewes Delaware. This new state of the art store is expected to open early this spring. This store is located in an easily accessible location on north bound route one in Lewes and is attached to the new Bethany Blues Restaurant (still under construction) and next door the Jiffy Lube. This store will not only carry all of the famous high quality meats and gourmet food products that Hickman’s is so famous for but they are proud to introduce the only full line of local certified organic produce and hand made organic farm products. This will be the only location on the Delaware shore where customers can find a full variety of Delaware grown certified organic vegetables and fruits from a variety of different growers.
