This year along with other performers, 11 year old Naya Gonzalez was invited to perform at the Schwartz Center during a Hispanic Heritage month celebration.

This ballerina represented her Hispanic culture by dancing two classical variations that were choreographed by dance teacher and owner of the Dance Conservatory in Dover, Mrs. Teresa Emmons. Naya has been dancing for 7 years and not only did she represent the Dance Conservatory but she did a wonderful job by representing her culture as a former Little Miss Hispanic DE 2010/2011.

Among the many things Naya is doing in her young life, she is also preparing to perform in this years Nutcracker along with her peers.

The Nutcracker has been performed by many talented dancers from the Dance Conservatory for many years and this year is no different. These talented dancers have been working hard each night to bring the City of Dover and the community, yet another great performance.

The Nutcracker will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 for all school showings at 9 am and 12 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2013 there will be two showings 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 2pm. For ticket information please visit www.schwartzcenter.com
