While driving to work one day, I saw a vision: that Lion that Samson tore with his bare hands; then, the carcass of the lion and inside the honeycomb full of honey. Immediately I understood it as a parable:
I saw the strongest beast in the jungle representing the false identity in us. The bees representing angels sent by God to help us clear the way to make room for the word of God. The honey representing the truth of God produced inside to strengthen us.
Samson ate the honey and took some for his father and mother but did not tell them that he had taken the honey out of the carcass of the lion. Why did Samson not tell them? Because, they were not ready to receive it! They would have been disgusted if they knew where the honey was found. Just as some of Jesus’ disciples were disgusted when He said: ‘Eat my flesh and drink my blood.’
Jesus’ words were spoken by the Spirit in the form of a parable. Those around, like now, want to discern them with their natural minds. The flesh, the blood, the honey, and all the other types and shadows are all portions of the gigantic parable that is the Bible.
Ask and you will receive; seek and you will find. Yes, seek the progressive revelation that comes from intimate experiences with the Lord. Eat of that little book that is sweet in the mouth but bitter in the stomach. And why is it bitter in the stomach? Because it will cause changes in the inner being, many of which will be uncomfortable until our sense of self is adjusted in Christ.
Honey does strengthen us as it did Jonathan, the son of King Saul, in the battle field. Be not afraid, slay the lion, have victory over the beast by the Spirit of the Lord. It is only by the Spirit that we can truly overcome.

Mientras manejaba hacia el trabajo tuve una visión: vi el león que Sansón despedazó con sus propias manos y después ví el cuerpo muerto del león y dentro un enjambre de abejas con miel. Inmediatamente entendí que se trataba de una parábola.
Ví que la bestia más fuerte en la jungla representaba nuestra falsa identidad. Las abejas representaban los ángeles enviados por Dios a ayudarnos a aclarar el camino de manera que haya espacio para la palabra de Dios. La miel representaba la verdad de Dios producida dentro para darnos fuerzas.
Sansón comió de la miel y llevó consigo para darle a su padre y a su madre pero no les dijo de dónde vino la miel.
¿Por qué no les dijo? ¡Porque no estaban preparados para recibir la verdad! Hubieran sentido asco de haber sabido dónde encontró su hijo la miel. Así como también los discípulos de Jesús sintieron asco cuando Jesús dijo ‘Coman mi carne, beban mi sangre.’
Las palabras que expresó Jesús vinieron del Espíritu en la forma de una parábola. Aquéllos a su derredor, como ahora, quieren discernir las palabras con la mente carnal. La carne, la sangre, la miel, y los ejemplos y sombras son parte de la parábola gigantesca que es la Biblia.
Pide y recibirás; busca y encontrarás. Si buscas la revelación progresiva que resulta de las experiencias íntimas con El Señor. Come el libro pequeño que es dulce cuando alcanza la boca pero amargo cuando llega al estómago.
Y ¿por qué es amargo? Porque causa cambios en el ser interior que le hará sentir incómodo hasta que sea ajustada su imagen propria en Cristo.
La miel nos da fuerza, como le dio a Jonathan, el hijo del Rey Saúl, en el campo de la batalla. No tengas temor, mata el león, ten victoria sobre la bestia por el Espíritu del Señor. Es la unica manera que podremos ser vencedores.
