Georgetown – After enough consideration, HOY en Delaware decided to Go Green, like the rest of the country. It has installed a solar panel system in the office building it owns in downtown Georgetown.

“We know you guys are going green and it’s nice to have that happen,” said Tom Klein, Director of Planning and Zoning for the town of Georgetwon.

“It’s like having a private and clean power plant producing all the electricity needed to run our offices in the middle of the town,” said Jose Somalo, owner and publisher of HOY en Delaware LLC. “Going green not only makes sense from the environmental point of view, but, as a business owner, it may save you some greens in your pocket as well.”

The building also houses the offices of Hook PR Group, a company owned by Patricia Rivera.

The photovoltaic system has been installed by KW Solar, out of Bear, another local company working in the state of Delaware.
