Christ in you is like a flicker of light. Do you know who desires to put that flicker out? Jesus said, ‘the Kingdom is within’. There is an enemy within also, which is very adept at hiding and even poses as the real you. That enemy is a false self known as the carnal mind –the ego.
When Jesus asks you ‘Who do you say that I AM?’ By revelation you get the answer: ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.’ More so, the answer also applies to His brethren for He is the first born of many children of the Kingdom.
Dare to live that truth! It is difficult to possess the promise land that flows with milk and honey on account of that enemy in your land, which many have identified with and don’t consider an enemy at all! ‘For the enemy has persecuted my soul; He has crushed my life to the ground; He has made me dwell in darkness, like those who have long been dead’ (Psalm 143:3). The promise land is a picture of your very being; the milk and honey represents knowledge and understanding of Christ through wisdom and revelation of the Holy Spirit.
In the Old Testament, the enemy is pictured as seven nations that must be defeated. In the New Testament, Jesus calls them ‘demons’–dumb, mute, deaf, and blind! They are the same ones that He cast out of Mary Magdalene; she represents the soul of man. These demons are born out of false beliefs and cause people not only to be deceived but to turn away from God while thinking they are God’s servants. They prevent God’s truth –the light of Christ– from expanding to disperse the darkness. They prevent people from understanding, speaking, hearing and seeing God’s truth.
Jesus said ‘It is finished!’ Trust and see the lies fall like scales from the eyes. Prepare to give up of the false identity and let Christ dwell abundantly in you. It may take a while because the ego builds strongholds to avoid being taken off the throne. This is the battle.
Be willing to judge yourself. With discernment, examine the plank in your own eye. Fight the good fight of faith! The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. ‘I have said, You [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High. Believe it! Live it!

Cristo es como luz trémula en ti. ¿Sabes quién quiere apagar esa luz? Jesús dijo ‘El Reino está en vosotros.’ También hay un enemigo dentro, quien es experto en escondites y pretende ser el verdadero tú. Ese enemigo es el ser falso que también se conoce como la mente carnal –el ego.
Cuando pregunta Jesús: ¿Quién dices que soy? Por revelación recibirás la contestación: ‘Eres el Cristo, El Hijo del Dios Vivo.’ Más aún, la contestación también se refiere a sus hermanos, pues Él es el primero de muchos hijos del reino.
Atrévete a vivir esa verdad. Es difícil poseer la tierra prometida que fluye con leche y miel por cuenta del enemigo en tu tierra, con quien muchos se han identificado y no consideran enemigo! ‘Porque ha perseguido el enemigo mi alma; Ha postrado en tierra mi vida; Me ha hecho habitar en tinieblas como los ya muertos’ (Salmos 143:3). La tierra prometida representa tu propio ser; la leche y miel representan conocimiento, y entendimiento de Cristo a través de la sabiduría y la revelación del Espíritu Santo.
En el Viejo Testamento, el enemigo es representado como siete naciones que tienen que ser destruídas. En el Nuevo Testamento, Jesús los llama ‘demonios’ –tonto, mudo, sordo y ciego–. Son los mismos que sacó de María Magdalena; ella representa el alma del hombre. Esos demonios nacen de las creencias falsas y causa que la gente no solo viva engañada sino también que estén apartadas de Dios, a la vez que creen ser sus siervos. Ellos previenen que la verdad de Dios –la luz de Cristo– se extienda para difundir la oscuridad. Previenen que la gente entienda, hable, escuche y vea la verdad de Dios.
Jesús dijo ‘¡Consumado es! Confia y verás las mentiras caer como escamas de los ojos. Prepárate para dejar a un lado la identidad falsa y permite que Cristo viva abundantemente en ti. Podrá tomar un rato debido a que el ego construye fortalezas para evitar que le quiten el trono. Esta es la batalla.
Júzgate a ti mismo. Con discernimiento, examina la viga en tu propio ojo. Pelea la buena batalla de la fe. ‘Porque las armas de nuestra milicia no son carnales, sino poderosas en Dios para la destrucción de fortalezas. ‘Yo dije: Vosotros sois dioses, Y todos vosotros hijos del Altísimo.’ ¡Créelo! ¡Vívelo!
