At the beginning of March, I hear, “Go back to basic.” While I order lunch, the message is confirmed. My order number is #000. The instruction is to focus on what is essential for life and livelihood.
Then I hear ‘make sure that your past has been put to rest for it cannot be taken into the new horizon. Later that day, I hear a friend say, “this period is about sorting out the wheat from the chaff. She adds, “We’re going back to zero.” I don’t think that was a coincidence!
We’re entering uncharted territory. Here, old patterns won’t serve us. Change is inevitable. It is time to exchange apathy for caring, hate for loving, cruelty for compassion, pride for humility. That is essential for life!
The Holy Spirit grant us knowledge, which becomes understanding through experiences. Thus, we learn. And, this requires us to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our GOD. It requires commitment, if we have not yet done so, to “learn to do good; seek justice, reprove the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.”
Do you see? Not everything is as it seems! These lessons have both physical and spiritual applications. The starting point is within! For example, do you recognize God as your Father? If not, figuratively, you’re an orphan. If you don’t see God as your husband, you’re a widow.
Of course, we take care of the orphan and widow literally. But being willing to be transformed causes the greater effect. Otherwise, we’d be functioning on a surface level and that causes a short-lived change. That is why Jesus said, ‘…you have the poor with you always…”? Our relations should touch something deep in ourselves and others!
Will you accept your position as son and daughter of GOD? Then, stop begging, stop doubting. Rather, continually give thanks. That is essential for livelihood! We have everything we need already. He says, “…You are always with me. All that I have is yours.” Jesus confirms this too when he says, “Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
One ‘age’ ends, and another begins. How many times should we commemorate the death of Jesus while ceasing to, metaphorically, live the old ways? “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”
How can we, as wheat, germinate while encased in the chaff of delusion? “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.” And, no matter what we face, we rise “for God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and of a sound mind.” ‘It is finished “and there’s no need to look back.

Al principio de marzo, escuché, “hay que volver a lo básico.” Mientras pido mi almuerzo, recibo confirmación del mensaje. El número del pedido es #000. Entiendo que debo poner mi enfoque en lo esencial de la vida y del sustento.
Entonces escucho ‘asegúrate de haber dejado tu pasado atrás pues no lo puedes llevar al nuevo horizonte”. Luego, escuché a una amiga decir, “en este periodo se separa el trigo de la paja.” Añade, “nosotros volvemos al cero.” ¿Coincidencia? ¡No lo creo!
Estamos entrando en territorio inexplorado. Aquí, los viejos esquemas no funcionan. El cambio es inevitable. Es tiempo de intercambiar la apatía por el cuidado, el odio por el amor, la crueldad por la compasión, el orgullo por la humildad. ¡Eso es esencial para la vida!
El Espíritu Santo nos da conocimiento que produce entendimiento conforme a las experiencias. De esa manera aprendemos. Y requiere que actuemos con justicia, amemos la misericordia y caminemos humildemente delante de Dios. También requiere compromiso, si no lo hemos hecho todavía, de aprender a hacer el bien, buscar el juicio, restituir al agraviado, hacer justicia al huérfano, y amparar a la viuda.
¿Te das cuenta? ¡No todo es como parece! Las lecciones tienen funciones tanto físicas como espirituales ¡El punto de comienzo es dentro de nuestro ser! Por ejemplo, ¿Reconoces a Dios como tu Padre? Si no, figurativamente, eres un huérfano. Si no ves a Dios como tu esposo, eres viuda.
Claro, hay que cuidar del huérfano y la viuda literalmente. Pero la disposición a ser transformados es lo que causa un efecto mayor. De otra manera, estaríamos funcionando superficialmente y esto causa cambios pasajeros. Es por lo que Jesús dijo, “siempre tendrás los pobres con ustedes” ¡Nuestras relaciones deben tocar algo profundo en nuestro ser y en otros!
¿Aceptas tu posición como hijo e hija de Dios? Entonces deja de mendigar, deja de dudar. Mas bien, continuamente demos gracias. ¡Esto es esencial para el sustento! Ya tenemos todo lo que necesitamos. Nos dice, “…Hijo tu siempre estás conmigo, y todas mis cosas son tuyas.” Jesús también lo confirma diciendo, “…he aquí, estoy contigo todos los días, hasta el fin de la (era)”.
Una ‘era’ pasa y otra comienza. ¿Cuántas veces conmemorarás la muerte de Jesús mientras no dejas de vivir en el pasado? “De cierto, de cierto os digo, que, si el grano de trigo no cae en la tierra y muere, queda solo; pero si muere, lleva mucho fruto”.
¿Cómo hemos de brotar como trigo si nos mantenemos encerrados en la paja del engaño? “De modo que, si alguno está en Cristo, nueva criatura es; las cosas viejas pasaron; he aquí todas son hechas nuevas.” No importa lo que enfrentemos, nos levantaremos “porque no nos ha dado Dios espíritu de cobardía, sino de poder, de amor y de dominio propio.” “Consumado es” y no hay necesidad de mirar atrás.
