To commemorate National HIV testing Day (June 27), the Latin American Community Center’s HIV Prevention Program will host its annual “Prevention is Power” HIV testing day event on Wednesday June 27, 2012 on the corner of 4th and Harrison Streets from 1pm-4pm. This is a very important day for everyone to get tested and know their HIV status to help prevent the spread of this disease.
Free and confidential mobile HIV testing, HIV prevention education and condoms will be provided on-site to the community. Please note that any kind of a Photo ID will be required to receive HIV testing services. Please spread the word to all of your clients, friends and family members to join us… and encourage them to get tested! Music, snacks, refreshments and raffle drawings will also be provided.
