Georgetown, DE – Get ready for rousing Latino music, delectable Cuban food and a colorful, festive evening when La Esperanza hosts its second gala, “Havana Nights,” at the Baycenter in Dewey Beach on November 15.
“After the great success of our first Gala two years ago, people have been asking over and over for the next one – and here it is!” said La Esperanza Executive Director Zaida Guajardo.
The evening will begin at 6 pm with a silent auction featuring Latino items and trips, followed by complimentary cocktails and a themed dinner of authentic Latino and Cuban foods.
Following dinner, guests will dance until 11 pm to the music of La Insaciable. Tickets to the event are $75 per person.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for all of our great friends, Latino and mainstream Sussex County alike, to come together for an evening of celebration and excitement,” Guajardo said.
La Esperanza is Sussex County’s leading non-profit provider of services for Latino clients. Based in Georgetown, DE, the organization will provide more than 12,000 client services this year, including immigration and citizenship advice, employment, emergency food, health care referrals, transportation, victim advocacy and temporary housing.
