Senator Pettyjohn was honored to join past and current General Assembly colleagues for a groundbreaking of the new Howard T. Ennis School in Georgetown.

Planning and funding for the facility had been in the works for close to a decade and on Friday, November 20th, shovels went into the ground and construction began on the $44.8 million building which is slated to open in 2022.

Here Senator Pettyjohn is joined at the event with Rep. Ron Gray, Rep. Ruth Briggs King, State Auditor Kathy McGuiness, Sen. Ernie Lopez, Sen. George Bunting and Sen. Joe Booth.
