New York Times bestselling author Marisa de los Santos will debut her new book “Watch Us Shine” on Tuesday, June 6 at 5:00 PM at the Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Avenue in Lewes, at a special launch party hosted by the library and Browseabout Books. The event will also be streamed live online via Zoom.
De los Santos will participate in a book discussion with author Ethan Joella, followed by a book signing. Books may be pre-ordered from Browseabout Books online, in-person, or by calling the store at 302-226-2665. Books will also be available for purchase at the event.
In “Watch Us Shine,” de los Santos returns to the world of her beloved, bestselling novels “Love Walked In” and “Belong to Me.” The enthralling tale of sisterhood, sacrifice, and enduring love finds Cornelia Brown reeling from a terrifying act of violence when she gets word that her mother has been badly injured in an accident.
With the help of her prickly sister, Ollie, Cornelia embarks on a mission to piece together the lost years of their mother’s life. As the sisters uncover truths about their mother’s past—some beautiful, some ugly, some tragic—Cornelia herself begins to heal, to forgive herself, and to find her way back home.

Registration is required. At registration, participants will be asked to select virtual or in-person attendance.
