The Lewes Public Library is seeking candidates from the greater Lewes area to serve a five-year appointment on the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees is the governing board of the library and seeks to represent a broad spectrum of community interests and occupations. Board members oversee the library as representatives of the community, determining policies governing its operations and programs, and actively support library related legislation. Meetings are held monthly.
Applicants must be residents of the Cape Henlopen School District, preferably within the Lewes Post Office Service Area. For further information, contact the Library Director at 645-2733.
