I am reminded of a poem I wrote in 2011, which I feel it is appropriate to share, especially given the difficult times we are facing.
Yes, there is a choice to be made! That choice entails standing on the ROCK! Notice the ‘great incline.’ What is its meaning? It is living in duality! It is shifting sand! Consequently, we fail to guard the house, that house that is our collective soul, wherein the Holy Spirit seeks to dwell to expand love. If we’re not standing on the ROCK, it means we’re on that incline.
On that incline, there is no balanced ground. There, many lose hope, and others give up on life. There, and guided by our ego pursuits, we’re either climbing or sliding back. Duality gives us: stop and go, stuck and flow, up and down, black and white, good and bad, us and them and other opposites. It is work devoid of faith!
However, guidance from above results in the exercising of faith, which is complete trust in God that guides us in LOVE (1 John 4:8). In this state, we see with the single eye! Here we recognize that the LORD is ONE! The Spirit in each one of us, that breath of life, is the LORD. We are many members of the same ONE. We learn that love is perfected in each for our sake and the sake of others.
Here we understand: “love is patient, love is kind …not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (1 Corinthians 13:4). Here we distinguish between those who speak about love and those who truly love.
In this solid ground, we stand firmly. “We must no longer be children tossed to and from and blown about by every wind of doctrine by people’s trickery, by their craftiness in deceitful scheming…” (Ephesians 4:14) It is time to dare to change, to stand, be the open door to LOVE that unifies and strengthens!
I am an open door

Stop and go, stop and go
then all doors seem to close
Again, you stop not knowing where
Not knowing where to roll
Because this time you find your mind
Looking at a great incline
No one there to lend a hand
To pull you out what seems like sand
Then you say a prayer
Guiding Light, help me
That I may not turn into a naysayer
I hear your still small voice
“it’s up to you to make a choice.
You’re looking at this the wrong way.”
That’s what I hear you say
It’s up to me to open wide
To see life with the single eye
And, from duality ascend?
“Come higher yes, my friend
See duality’s aftermath
Hatred, divisions, alas!
But in unity you’ll see
It’s best to stand on the ROCK
Say it with me:
I am the open door to LOVE!”

Recordé un poema que escribí en el 2011, que considero apropiado para compartir dados los tiempos difíciles que enfrentamos.
¡Sí, tenemos que elegir una alternativa! ¡Esa alternativa conlleva ponerse en pie sobre la ROCA! Fíjate en la ‘cuesta grande’. ¿Qué significa? ¡Es una alegoría del vivir en la dualidad! ¡Es arena movediza! Y ésto causa que dejemos de proteger nuestra casa, esa casa que es otra alegoría de nuestra alma colectiva, en la cual El Espíritu Santo desea morar y expandir el amor. El no estar en pie sobre la ROCA, quiere decir que estamos en esa gran cuesta resbaladiza.
En esa cuesta no se encuentra el balance. Allí, muchos pierden la esperanza y otros se dan por vencidos y pierden la vida. Allí y guiados por los deseos del ego, subimos con mucha dificultad o resbalamos con facilidad.
Así es la dualidad: detente o sigue, estoy encajado o fluyendo, arriba o abajo, blanco o negro, bueno o malo, nosotros o aquéllos, y muchos otros contrastes. ¡Es obrar sin la fe!
Mientras, la guía del cielo resulta en el ejercicio de la fe, la cual es confianza plena en Dios que nos guía hacia el AMOR (1 Juan 4:8). ¡En este estado de ser, vemos con el ojo singular!
¡Allí reconocemos que EL SEÑOR es UNO! El Espíritu que habita en cada uno de nosotros, ese aliento de vida procede de DIOS. Somos miembros todos del mismo cuerpo de DIOS. Aprendemos que el amor se perfecciona en cada uno para nuestro bien y el bien de todos.
Allí entendemos que: “el amor es paciente, es bondadoso. El amor no es envidioso, jactancioso ni orgulloso. No se comporta con rudeza, no es egoísta, no se enoja con facilidad, no guarda rencor. El amor no se deleita en la maldad, sino que se regocija con la verdad. Todo lo disculpa, todo lo cree, todo lo espera, todo lo soporta.” (1 Corintios. 13: 4-7) Allí, hacemos distinción entre aquellos que hablan del amor y aquellos que verdaderamente aman.
En este suelo, firmemente nos ponemos de pies. “Así ya no seremos niños, lanzados de un lado a otros por las olas y llevados de aquí para allá por todo viento de enseñanza y por la astucia y los artificios de hombres que emplean artimañas engañosas…” (Efesios 4:14)
¡Atrévete a cambiar, a ponerte en pie, a ser la puerta abierta para EL AMOR que nos une y nos fortalece!
Soy una Puerta

Ya ves cómo se cierran las puertas
Otra vez, te detienes al no saber dónde estas
Porque esta vez encuentras que tu mente está
fijada en una cuenta grande
y no encuentras a alguien que te dé la mano
para sacarte de la arena movediza
Elevas una petición hacia cielo
¡Luz que guía, ayúdame!
Ya no quiero ser una persona negativa
Escucho tu voz, Silencio. Cálmate
te toca escoger otra alternativa pues errónea es tu perspectiva
¿Qué es lo que dices, que tengo que abrir mi
corazón para ver con tu ojo singular y así poder
ascender del estado de la dualidad?
Si amigo, ven. Sube más alto para que te des cuenta del daño que causa la dualidad.
Allí se encuentra el odio, las divisiones y más
Pero en la unidad, notarás que es mejor posarte sobre la ROCA.
¡Dílo conmigo, Yo soy una puerta abierta donde entra el amor!
