The Delaware Solid Waste Authority is sponsoring an event during which household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronic goods will be collected to be recycled.
The recycling event will be held this Saturday, May 5th at Jones Crossroads Landfill in Georgetown between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Household hazardous waste items that can be recycled include household cleaners, garden pesticides, oil-based paints (no latex paint), nail polish, fluorescent bulbs and anti-freeze. Electronic equipment, including personal computers, cell phones, video toys, TVs, VCRs and much more, will be accepted.
