The Delaware McDonald’s® Operator Association hosted a “McCafé® Coffee with a Cause” recognition event benefiting the Food Bank of Delaware on Friday, August 12. Staff members were on-site as McDonald’s presented the organization with a $3,000 donation.

“McCafé Coffee with a Cause” kicked off in April with participating McDonald’s restaurants throughout the state of Delaware donating 50 percent of every Monday’s net McCafé® coffee sales to a selected charitable organization. This past month, McDonald’s partnered with Food Bank of Delaware an organization committed to alleviating hunger.

Throughout the year, donations from the “McCafé Coffee with a Cause” program will support various local charities within Delaware, including Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, Delaware Humane Society, and Arc of Delaware.
